Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Ṣāliḥ al-'Uthaymin said:

Sufyän ath-Thawri (رَحِمَهُ الله) said:
"The example of the scholar is like the example of the doctor,he does not administer the medicine except on the place of the illness.”

Say: Are those who know equal to those who do not know?

اقوال زَرِّیں
خیر یہ نہیں ہے کہ تمہارا مال اور تمہاری اولا د زیادہ ہو جائے بلکہ خیر یہ ہے کہ تمہارا علم زیادہ ہو اور تمہاری بردباری کی صفت بڑی ہو اور اپنے رب کی عبادت میں تم لوگوں سے آگے نکلنے کی کوشش کرو۔
اگر تم سے نیکی کا کام ہو جائے تو اللہ تعالٰی کی تعریف کرو اور اگر برائی کا کام ہو جائے تو اللہ تعالیٰ سے استغفار کرو۔
